 Since its creation almost one hundred years ago, Fira de Barcelona has
grown considerably to become the most important professional and industrial
trade fair organiser in the State and one of the first five in Europe
in number of events. Every year, Fira de Barcelona plays host to over
30,000 exhibiting companies and has an audience of around 3,500,000, many
of them trade visitors who represent all industrial and trade sectors.

La Rambla (also called Las Ramblas) - a tree-lined
pedestrian boulevard — is one of the main shopping
and tourist arteries in Barcelona. Here you can find
everything you are looking for - leather goods,
souvenirs, antiques and curiosities for anyone's taste.
Barcelona is the capital of Spanish province Catalonia
and there are 2 official languages - Catalan
and Spanish (Castellano). Almost everyone in Barcelona
understands Spanish, but sometimes they prefer not
to use this language. All announcements in public transport,
street names and newspapers are in Catalan.
