Severe weather conditions in Spain.
The Civil Protection Department confirmed today that severe weather conditions are expected in seven regions, a situation which could complicate the Constitution and Immaculate Conception holiday plans of millions of travellers. Snow is forecast for Aragón, Asturias, Cantabria, Navarra, Castilla León and the Basque country, In Castilla León, snow is forecast above 800 metres in the provinces of Burgos, León and Palencia, as well as all parts of Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque country, where winds of up to 100km an hour are also expected. in Aragón and Navarra, snow is forecast above 1,000 metres. 80km an hour winds are forecast for the provinces of Cuneca and Albacete in Castilla La Mancha.
