Marilyn Monroe exhibition success
Not so long ago Barcelona tourists could visit an interesting exhibition at the Palau Robert called "Marilyn and the Cinema. A Star without an Olympus," which was closed on September 6. The exhibition revealed unknown facts of the actresses life and displayed exhibits that were previously not shown at any of the exhibitions, for instance photographs of her childhood and adolescence, as well as personal objects, such as dresses, based on the collection of Maite Mínguez Ricart. As a result, it became obvious that, despite a long time has gone since the actress died, she still attracts people and awakes interest. During the three months while the exhibition was on display, about forty thousand people visited it, which means that this was one of the most visited exhibitions at Palau Robert (after the one dedicated to Manuel Pertegaz).
<br>This exposition will be replaced by another one called "Approaching Science", which can be visited in Oictober. Don’t miss this excellent exhibition which reveals science progress and emphasizes it’s social benefits.
