European Mobility Week
This week, from 22 to 29 September, Barcelona joins 1,300 cities in 30 European countries to celebrate European Mobility Week with 450 different activities aimed to show people negative results of using cars in the city. If you are not indifferent to this thematic, you may take part in one of the many competitions and activities, or simply be a viewer. For example, your children may participate in 'Al carrer tots hi pintem' where, together with 500 other children, they will draw and write messages related to transport and safety. Also, there are: 'Mou-te amb el planeta' exhibition at Plaça Universitat (September 28-30) dedicated to the influence of cars on our envoronment; the Joc de la Mobilitat quiz on transport theme, by answering which you can win one of several prices; Transport race as a result of which it will become clear which king of transport is the most money- and time-efficient and Mobilitat Sostenible i Segura awards at the centre for Estudis i Recursos Culturals in Barcelona (September, 29) for most sustainable and safe transport
