Hollywood Fashion Parade at Xavier Benguerel library
Today is the first day when you can visit an exhibition in the Xavier Benguerel library called Hollywood Fashion Parade (Passarel la Hollywood), which will be opened till November, 15. The exhibition presents 25 photos from the golden era of US cinema, which reveal an important relationship between the US cinema and the fashion and beauty industry, with particular attention to how the professional photographers helped to make stars out of actors and actresses. The so-called Hollywood "star-system" has become a very popular tendency of the 20th century, with a considerable increase in fashionable stars, beautiful idols and beauty treatments. This was the golden age, when glamour and fashion were born. To see this excellent collection, visit the library at Av Bogatell, 17 in the Sant Martí district. The entrance is free.
