Changes in train routes announced
There were recently changes in Barcelona’s railway timetables and routes announced. The changes are connected with construction of new rail access points at Sants Station. As a result of works, RENFE's regional routes are affected – but only for the period from 10.25 p.m. and 0.10 a.m. For instance, some trains that went as far as Sants will only go to Plaça Catalunya or Hospitalet de Llobregat now, whereas others will change their routes at Clot. At the same time, some trains will be suspended – those are trains leaving Estació de França at 10.12 and 10.42 p.m. and going to the airport. In order to lessen the inconveniences, Renfe has introduced another travel plan that involves altered routes and bus shuttle. To provide travelers with more information, there will be extra staff working at stations and on trains.
