Festa Mayor de Sants
Feel the true Barcelona spirit with Festa Mayor de Sants which takes place August 19 – 25. On this day the 12 main streets of the city’s Montjuic district organize their own street parties with a variety of activities. The whole day is dedicated to the district’s residents who can enjoy wonderful concerts and sporting events. And in the evening the party is carried to the rest of the city, where you can listen to excellent music, watch parades and a baile de gigantes, or dance of the giants.
