Criminal incident.
Three teenagers have been arrested for setting fire to a 50-year-old homeless woman, Maria Rosario EP, inside a bank in Barcelona's Sarria-Sant Gervasi district shortly after 1am last Friday morning. A camera captured images of the three accused as they entered and left the indoor cash point of the head office of the Caixa de Pensions savings bank located on the calle Guillem Tell. Accordingly to a regional police source, they physically assaulted their victim before dousing her in solvent and setting fire to her. As she had done on many previous occasions, the victim had taken refuge in the vestibule, where she planned to spend the night in the warm. She died in the Serious Burns Unit of Barcelona's Hospital at 9am on Saturday morning as a result of her injuries.
