Undercarriage fire at Barcelona airport.
90 passengers on the flight from Bilbao airport were evacuated from the plane down inflatable emergency chutes, leaving two of them with severe bruising. There was a scare at Barcelona's El Prat de Llobregat airport earlier Monday, January 9 when a Spanair jet was forced to make an emergency stop after one of its tyres punctured then burst into flames. The accident, which occurred at around 10am that morning, forced the temporary closure of the airport's third runway until the damaged plane was removed.
