Singing waitress for Eurovision.

Newspaper Diari D'Andorra reports that a newcomer will represent the country at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. It reports that Jennifer has been chosen to sing for the principality in Athens. The newspaper goes on to say that the Spanish born singer was working as a waitress in the principality, when her big chance came to represent Andorra at the competition. Her voice impressed the members of the internal jury who had the job of deciding who, amongst 44 potential candidates, should be the third Andorran Eurovision performer. The news is, as yet, unconfirmed by Andorran TV. Jennifer will record the Eurovision song during the coming days at the studios of Ten Productions in Sabadell. Studio manager was enthusiastic about the project, noting that Jennifer's voice sounds like a mixture of Anastacia and Sam Brown. The song will be heard for the first time on 8 March, when ATV broadcast a special gala show from the Claror Auditorium in Sant Julia de Loria. Rafael Artesero, who composed 'La Mirada Interior' in 2005, is behind the new song that will be performed in Catalan at the contest in May.
